Aquolin®

Aquolin® 161 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In combination with water-borne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for adhesive products to improve the resistance to hydrolysis and heat. It also can be used for waterborne coatings. After addition of Aquolin® 161, the ready-to- use mixture must be used within the pot life. Aquolin®161 can be diluted with the solvents, such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA), propylene glycol diacetate (PGDA), butyl acetate, etc. Only PU grade solvents (max. 0.05% water) should be used and the solvents must be tested in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Aquolin® 163 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In combination with waterborne polymer dispersions (such as polyurethane, polyacrylate and polyvinyl acetate) and waterborne polyol, it can be used for water-borne coatings and adhesive. After addition of Aquolin® 163, the ready-to-use formulation must be used within the pot life. Aquolin®163 can be diluted with the solvents listed when used, such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA), propylene-glycol diacetate (PGDA), ethyl acetate, butyl acetate. Only PU grade solvents (< 0.05% water) should be used and the solvents must be tested in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Aquolin® 268 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for water-borne coatings and adhesive. After addition of Aquolin® 268, the ready-to-use mixture must be used within the pot life. Aquolin® 270 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for water-borne coatings and adhesives. Thanks to its low viscosity and ease of hand- mixing, Aquolin 278 can be used to prepare “solvent-free hardener” in order to produce ultralow VOC coatings. After addition of Aquolin 278, the ready-to-use mixture must be used within the pot life.

Aquolin® 280 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for water-borne coatings and adhesives. After addition of Aquolin 280, the ready-to-use mixture must be used within the pot life.

Aquolin® 279 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI). In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for water-borne coatings.
