CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

CHROMASHINE® BL20-X functions as an effect pigment and pigment.

EBECRYL® 640/20 TO is a modified diacrylate ester of bisphenol A epoxy resin. This product is characterized by its light color, fast cure response and improved pigment wetting. Films of EBECRYL®640/20 TO cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit high surface hardness and gloss and the excellent solvent resistance typical of an epoxy resin. EBECRYL®640/20 TO finds broad use in UV/EB applications, such as inks, coatings and overprint varnishes.

EBECRYL® 3300 is a highly reactive epoxy acrylate, diluted in DPGDA. When formulated and cross-linked with other suitable radiation curable oligomers and reactive diluents, it results in durable, hard-elastic and chemically resistant coating films of high quality. For UV curing a suitable photoinitiator must be added to the formulation. The addition level depends on the line speed, number of lamps and thickness of the coating film.

Aquapol® PT-17000-62 pre- polymer has found use in a wide range of applications ranging from medical foams, visco- elastic earplugs, cosmetic sponge, and specialty coatings and foams. Due to the hydro- philic backbone, this polymer and resultant foams and coatings absorb and retain a large quantity of liquid (water and alcohol).
