- rust preventatives
- thin film, water displacing corrosion inhibitor. Additin M 41.002 is an excellent film forming agent. It was developed specifically for use in rust preventatives based on mineral oils or solvents.
- Additin M 41.002 has a light color, low odor compared to other film formers like oxidized paraffins. When blended with a solvent it leaves a waxy, dry, protective and non-staining thin film for excellent indoor and outdoor rust protection in high humidity environments. Blending with base oil leaves a softer oily film with similar properties.
- Additin M 41.002 is non-emulsifiable and alkali resistant and also provides good boundary lubrication for forming operations.
