Additin® RC 4955

Additin® RC 4955 is a chemical blend used as an additive package for rust preventive oils. It is compatible with Group I and Group II base stocks and has a pH range of 6 - 8 (10% in water). The product provides excellent corrosion inhibition, emulsion stability, and good rust inhibition.

  • ADDITIN® RC 4955 is a rust preventative package that is designed to be dissolved in mineral oil (grp I or grp II; but also PAO or GTL might be used) and then emulsified with water.
  • The mixture prepared with ADDITIN® RC 4955 has excellent emulsion stability properties and result in outstanding performance in salt spray test and humidity cabinet.
  • The resulting protective film is oily with excellent edge protection
