It is effective in a wide variety of systems and can be used as a stand-alone inhibitor or synergistically with other corrosion inhibitors to significantly improve corrosion resistance. It is supplied as an easily dispersible pigment. Typical use levels as a synergistic additive range form 0.5 - 2.5% total formula weight and from 3 - 7% total formula weight as a stand-alone inhibitor.
