NOVEL® 1216CO-7 Ethoxylate is a biodegradable nonionic based on a linear primary alcohol formulated to simulate that derived from coconut oil. ALFONIC 1216CO-7 Ethoxylate is liquid at room temperature, essentially 100% active and has the following structural formula: CH3(CH2)x(OCH2CH2)7OH where ‘x’ varies between 11 and 15. The narrow range version of this ethoxylate made using Sasol Chemicals patented NOVEL catalyst technology is also available.

These alcohol alkoxylates are based on Sasol’s wide range of linear and semi-linear fatty alcohols. They are produced by alkoxylation of the fatty alcohols to varying degrees using ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. MARLOX RT 64 is a turbid liquid at room temperature and essentially 100% active.

SURFONIC® L24-7 is the seven-mole ethoxylate of linear, primary 12-14 carbon number alcohol. It is a water-soluble, nonionic surface active agent which is compatible with other nonionic surfactants and with most anionic and cationic surfactants. The product is a clear to slightly turbid liquid.

SURFONIC® L24-9 the nine-mole ethoxylate of linear, primary 12-14 carbon number alcohol. It is a water-soluble, nonionic surface active agent which is compatible with other nonionic surfactants and with most anionic and cationic surfactants. The product is a milky white semi-solid at room temperature.
