Silcolapse® 721 is a non-ionic aqueous 10% active silicone antifoam and/or defoamer. It offers excellent antifoam and defoaming properties in a wide variety of aqueous applications including those with incidental food contact as well as food processing applications. The product effectively controls foam at concentrations as low as 10 ppm solids, even at elevated temperatures. The product gives good results at wide-ranging pH and provides a cost effective solution where foam is a problem.

Silcolapse® 710 is a 100% active silicone antifoam and/or defoamer. It offers excellent antifoam and defoaming properties in a wide variety of aqueous and non-aqueous applications including those with incidental food contact as well as food processing applications. Silcolapse® 5020 is a non-ionic aqueous emulsion containing dimethylpolysiloxane, and is highly effective for prevention, control and elimination of foam in aqueous media. Silcolapse® 5020 contains 20% of active ingredient and is designed for industrial uses. Other specialized defoaming agents exist for use in food contact please consult us about them.

CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-61 Surfactant is a nonionic surfactant with a chemical structure designed to make it act as a defoamer in many applications. Even at very low concentrations, CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-61 can be used to reduce the superficial tension of liquids, including high viscosity liquids. Defoaming performance is a function of cloud point and end use temperature and CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-61 is our lowest foaming surfactant. These materials are water soluble at low temperatures and will flocculate when warmed above their cloud point.

Focus Nilfoam 718 is a free-rinsing, organo silicone emulsion and is very effective on a range of surfactant based foams in water-based systems. Focus Nilfoam 718 will effectively control foam in a variety of applications including metalworking coolants, water-based adhesives, wastewater treatment systems, and latex systems.
