CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

Hostanox® P-EPQ powder is a highly efficient phosphorus based secondary antioxidant, which reduces the thermo-oxidative degradation of polymers and the development of undesired color (yellowing) during processing. The main advantages of Hostanox® P-EPQ powder are its high thermal stability and high solubility in polymeric materials as well as its broad compatibility in coating polymers.

MAINCOTE™ HG-54D has established the performance standard for acrylic waterborne maintenance paint vehicles. It can be formulated into primers and gloss topcoats which are designed for commercial, institutional, and industrial maintenance markets. The full gloss capability, corrosion resistance, flow, hardness, and chemical resistance characteristics imparted by MAINCOTE™ HG-54D Acrylic Resin in a waterborne finish are typical of those associated with conventional solvent-based maintenance systems. Primer formulations exhibit stability with commonly used corrosion-inhibiting pigments.
