Staybelite® Ester 10 is the glycerol ester of partially hydrogenated gum rosin. It is a pale, thermoplastic resin with excellent resistance to oxidation and discoloration. It is recommended for use as a tackifying resin for many adhesive applications, particularly pressure sensitive and emulsion types. In general, it is useful where there is need for pale, non-oxidizing, and color stable resin.

Staybelite® Resin is gum rosin that has been partially hydrogenated via a catalytic process. It is a pale, thermoplastic, acidic resin, Hydrogenation makes this resin highly resistant to oxidation and discoloration and to changes in solubility characteristics, when it is exposed to air and heat. In these respects, it is greatly superior to ordinary non- hydrogenated rosins.

Staybelite® Ester 3 EU, the triethylene glycol ester of partially hydrogenated gum rosin, is a pale, viscous, balsamic liquid with the resistance to oxidation and diskoloration characteristics of the Staybelite series of rosin esters. It has found wide acceptance in hot melt, pressure sensitive, and ethylcellulose laminating adhesives. In general, it finds use where there is a need for a pale, non-oxidizing, color-stable, highly tacky liquid resin.

Foral® AX has a very light initial color and its strong resistance to oxidation results in excellent color retention in a wide range of applications. Staybelite® Ester 5 rosin is the glycerol ester of partially hydrogenated gum rosin, specially processed for superior taste and odour characteristics. It is a pale, thermoplastic rosin with excellent resistance to oxidation and discoloration. Its principal use is in chewing gum bases where it imparts masticatory properties in combination with polymers and other ingredients. The oxidation resistance of Staybelite Ester 5 resin helps finished chewing gums retain chewability, consistency and flavour throughout their shelf lives.
