Pale 1000 Blown Castor Oil commonly known as blown oils have increasing viscosities resulting from oxidative and crosslink polymerization at the double bonds and hydroxyl groups. Oxidative polymerization of castor oil yields products with increased viscosities and decreasing solubility in aliphatic solvents, increasing compatibility with various resins and improved ability to wet and disperse pigments while imparting solvent and abrasion resistance to lacquer systems. The polymerized oils are used to plasticize a variety of resins in adhesive and sealant systems, inks and hot melts. The heavier viscosity polymerized oils are processing aids and plasticizers for rubber polymers, imparting oil and solvent resistance.

CRAYVALLAC® ANTISETTLE CVP is used in caulks, solventborne coatings, and greases. It features anti-settling, good leveling, high shear thinning, high thixotropy, recoatability, and sag resistance. The product functions as a rheology modifier in CASE ingredients.

LUBRICIN® N-1 is a highly refined methyl ricinoleate for lubricating oils, motor fuels, upper cylinder lubricants, cutting oils and gear oils. It functions to reduce rusting, corrosion and wear of metal parts and exhibits detergent action on tar, varnish and carbon deposits.

AA™ Standard Castor Oil is a commercial, quality refined grade castor oil. It is a light-colored viscous liquid. The principle constituent (approximately 90%) is the triglyceride (ester) of ricinoleic acid. The combination of hydroxyl group and unsaturation exists only in castor oil.

P-™10 Fatty Acids derived from pure castor oil. P-™10 Fatty Acids is the building block for modifying many performance properties of a broad range of industrial chemicals. These performance enhanced chemicals are then used in a variety of consumer products, including paints, adhesives, soaps and inks.

Paricin® 1 is a waxy solid supplied as soft white flakes. Paricin® 1functions as an internal lubricant and processing aid for butyl and EPDM rubber. It is resistant to oxidation, oil and water. Paricin® 1 has excellent pigment wetting characteristics and is compatible with most natural waxes.

Surfactol® 365 is an ideal low foaming emulsifier for oil/water emulsions. It provides a means of using the basic properties of castor oil lubricity, penetration, pigment wetting, compatibility in a water-based system.

Flexricin® 15 is a di-hydroxy ester that is effective as a plasticizer and lubricant. It is a more viscous castor-based ester and will impart hydrocarbon resistance to plug-valve greases with good low temperature and low viscosity properties.

Preventol® IT 14 is a preservative used in adhesives and sealants, fluids and lubricants, paints and coatings, printing and inks, and water treatment. It is applied in air washer systems, hydraulic oils and fluids, and metalworking fluids. Compatible with wood substrates, it functions as a preservative in fluids and industrial additives.
