CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

This technology equals and in many ways outperforms other premium, high temperature greases such as Lithium Complex, Aluminum Complex and Polyurea.

It is a pale, thermoplastic, acidic resin, Hydrogenation makes this resin highly resistant to oxidation and discoloration and to changes in solubility characteristics, when it is exposed to air and heat. In these respects, it is greatly superior to ordinary non- hydrogenated rosins.

D.E.R. 6225 Resin is a modified, low molecular weight, solid epoxy resin which has been developed mainly for use in powder coatings. It has been designed for applications where excellent flow out and high gloss are required such as automotive, appliance or general metal decorative coatings. D.E.R.® 6225 is also suitable for use in thin film applications.
