CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

This technology, developed and patented by Chemtura, is characterized by exceptional mechanical stability, high dropping point, high load carrying performance, reduced wear, and excellent resistance to water and corrosion. This technology equals and in many ways outperforms other premium, high temperature greases such as Lithium Complex, Aluminum Complex and Polyurea.

EBECRYL® PEG200DMA forms homopolymers and copolymers. EBECRYL® PEG200DMA is compatible with a wide range of acrylated and methacrylated resins.

EBECRYL® TMPTMA is a trifunctional methacrylate monomer that will readily copolymerize with other unsaturated compounds using radical curing mechanisms. Polymerization can be accomplished thermally using peroxide or azo type radical initiators, with ultraviolet (UV) or visible light using radical photoinitiators, or with high energy electrons (EB). EBECRYL® TMPTMA is typically copolymerized with other unsaturated compounds such as vinyl, methacrylate and acrylate functional materials to increase crosslinking and improve cured polymer properties such as hardness, chemical resistance and thermal resistance.
