Dynasylan® VPS 4721 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive organic epoxide and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows VPS 4721 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent and/or surface modifier. Dynasylan® VPS 4721 is a colorless liquid. It is soluble in alcohols, ketones and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Dynasylan® DAMO is a diamino­functional silane which acts as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers) and as a surface modifier. Dynasylan® DAMO is a colorless to slightly yellowish liquid with an amine­like odour which is soluble in alcohols and aliphatic as well as aromatic hydrocarbons.

Protectosil® WS 410 is an aqueous emulsion based on organofunctional silanes for the water repellent impregnation of absorbent, mineral substrates.

Dynasylan® VPS 7163 is used in adhesive applications including 1K and 2K adhesives, acrylic adhesives, acrylic sealants, and hot melt adhesives. It is also applied in coatings such as 1K and 2K coatings, acrylic coatings, polyurethane coatings, and primers. The product features excellent adhesion, improved substrate wetting, low volatility, and thermal resistance. It functions as a surface modifier, crosslinking agent, adhesion promoter, and coupling agent in CASE ingredients.

Dynasylan® SIVO 408 is an oligomeric short-chain alkylfunctional silane. Dynasylan® SIVO 408 is a clear, colorless to slightly yellow liquid and soluble in common organic solvents (e.g. petroleum ether, toluene, alcohol). Because of its unique structure and viscosity Dynasylan® SIVO 408 is an easy-to-handle additive.

Protectosil® 100 N is a free-flowing, colorless, solvent-free liquid water repellent based on a monomeric silane, specially intended for the external waterproofing of mineral building materials. Protectosil® 100 N may be used as a concentrate to manufacture diluted products and formulations.

Condensation occurs parallel to hydrolysis once a certain amount of silanol groups have been formed. The absolute and relative rates of hydrolysis and condensation depend on a number of factors. The most important factors include pH, concentration, solvent, temperature and the catalyst.

However its low volatility and viscosity make Dynasylan® OCTMO an easy ­to ­handle additive. Dynasylan® F 8261 is a bifunctional silane possessing hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups and a fluoroalkyl chain. Dynasylan® F 8261 acts as a surface modifier on mostly hydroxyfunctional substrates (e.g. glass, ceramic). It can also be used as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials and fluoropolymers (PTFE, fluorosilicones etc.). Dynasylan® F 8261 is a colorless and odorless liquid. It can be diluted to a proportion of about 25 wt.% in ethanol and various other organic solvents, e.g. n-hexane, xylene, acetone or ethyl acetate.

Dynasylan® DAMO­T is a bifunctional organosilane possessing two reactive amino groups and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups.
