D.E.R. 642U-20 Solid Epoxy Resin is a novolac modified resin and has an average functionality of approximately 2.6. It is designed for powder coating applications. The resin is mainly used in industrial powder coatings in combination with D.E.R. 663U Resin, D.E.R. 664UE Resin or D.E.R. 667E Resin cured with a phenolic hardener such as D.E.H.â„¢ 80 Curing Agent. Such formulations provide excellent corrosion and chemical resistance combined with good mechanical properties. Typical applications include pipe coatings and internal drum linings.

Calcinate® OTS is a 300 TBN first intent overbased calcium sulfonate. This product is a high quality sulfonate designed to be a component in metal working formulations providing the beneficial effects of alkalinity for neutralizing acid and superior demulsibility for rust inhibition. Oxpet LA 1531-20 is a first intent oxidized petrolatum. It is recommended for use as a rust preventative. It is designed to provide excellent rust protection in formulating industrial lubricating oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, slushing oils and various other protective compounds. With its non staining characteristics, this product is ideally suited for formulations that call for a high level of rust protection. Nominal dosages would range from 0,1 to 5.0 wt.% of the finished lubricant. Oxpet LA 1531-20 is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils and synthetic base stocks. The acids present in the Oxidate can be neutralized with bivalent metaloxides, e.g. Calcium hydroxide, giving end products of a high molecular weight and wax like nature with excellent water resistant and anti corrosion.

Dynasylan® AMEO-T is a blend of primary and secondary aminofunctional silanes. The blend contains more than 90 wt% of 3 aminopropyltriethoxysilane. Aminofunctional silanes posses a reactive amino group and a hydrolyzable ethoxysilyl group. The dual nature of this reactivity allows Dynasylan® AMEOÂT to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, a surface modifier and a reactive reagent. Dynasylan® AMEOÂT is a yellowish liquid with an amineÂlike odor. It is soluble in alcohols as well as aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
