CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

This technology equals and in many ways outperforms other premium, high temperature greases such as Lithium Complex, Aluminum Complex and Polyurea.

Specifically designed for continuous casting, BONDERITE® L-CA PF 404 ACHESON (known as PF 404) provides excellent release, superior tooling protection and high temperature wetting characteristics on copper/bronze dam blocks. Its unique formulation minimizes gassing which compounds porosity levels. BONDERITE® L-CA PF 404 ACHESON (known as PF 404) does not build up and is easily washed from the dam block surface.
