D.E.R.® 6224 Epoxy Resin is designed for decorative powder coating applications requiring excellent flow and gloss. The low melt viscosity and fast reactivity of D.E.R. 6224 Resin make this resin particularly suitable for the formulation of hybrid powder coatings. Improved flow and surface finish can be obtained when using D.E.R.® 6224 Solid Epoxy Resin in combination with polyester resins using polyester to epoxy ratios from 50/50 up to 80/20 parts by weight. The resin can also be used alone with conventional curing agents for pure epoxy powder coatings.
