Architectural Coatings

TEGO® ViscoPlus 3030 is a pH-independent, associative thickener with pseudoplastic flow behavior.

RHOPLEX® EC-2848 is designed to provide elastomeric coatings with an excellent balance of elongation, tensile strength and dirt pickup resistance over a wide temperature range. The elongation properties of the polymer allow coatings to bridge dimensionally unstable cracks without rupturing. It also provides an excellent balance of toughness and elasticity at both low and high temperatures without sacrificing dirt pickup resistance. Coatings based on RHOPLEX® EC-2848 retain an attractive appearance as they age.

K-FLEX® 500P is a blend of diethylene glycol dibenzoate and dipropylene glycol dibenzoate that was created to lower the VOC content of a coating more than other K-FLEX® 500P plasticizers. It was specifically designed for the coatings industry where very low VOC content is required or other application areas where low VOC content is critical.

TEGO® Guard 9000 is an organically modified branched polysiloxane emulsion providing excellent quick set properties. Suitable for various decorative exterior paints.

TEGO® Glide 410 shows oustanding slip and excellent anti-crater properties. It is highly effective and can be used in a broad rangeof different coatings and inks.

RHOPLEX® 2601 is a versatile binder designed for interior and exterior coatings and can be formulated across a broad PVC range. For exterior durability, higher coalescent levels may be needed to ensure good film formation in higher PVC paints. While RHOPLEX® 2601 is a harder latex binder, it should be noted that it is possible to develop low VOC paints with the use of low VOC coalescents (i.e. DOWANOL™ LoV 485 Glycol Ether, Optifilm 400, etc.).

CRAYVALLAC® WF-3200 provides the formulator with the means of controlling the frictional characteristics of a coating as well as enhancing its surface protection properties. CRAYVALLAC® WF-3200 is readily dispersed into coating formulations using a variety of techniques e.g. high-speed dispersers, bead mills and triple roll mills.

CRAYVALLAC® WF-6010 is a wax product consisting of paraffin waxes and hydrocarbon waxes.

KRONOS® 2360 is suitable for the highest demands on the weather resistance of coatings and plastics.

SURFYNOL® 104 Z is a multifunctional surfactant providing combined dynamic wetting and molecular defoaming in waterborne coatings and inks.

CIMBAR UF is used as a filler and pigment in paints and coatings.

TEGO® Phobe 1659 is a silicone resin emulsion for the very efficient reduction of the capillary water uptake of coating formulations.

RHOPLEX® E-2961 is a polyacrylate based polymer that contains carboxylic acid groups. This rheology modifier is a pre neutralized alkali-swellable emulsion which requires no pH adjustment. This RM offers a good combination of thickening efficiency and water holding. It is excellent for heavy paper and paperboard applications where heavy coat weights are common.

RHOPLEX® SP-100 is a binder and resin used in architectural coatings, automotive OEM coatings, automotive and transportation, industrial applications, and paints and coatings. It functions as a binder.
