Bluesil™ RES 6482X is a reactive silicone resin which was developed for use in the manufacture of decorative medium temperature paints. Currently this resin is mainly used for the manufacture of air drying, temperature resistant silicone alkyd paints. It is also more compatible than other silicones with urea-formaldehyde, melamine-formaldehyde, epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic resins. Another use is as an additive for epoxy paints. It also improves weathering resistance.

Bluesil™ RTV 3460 A is a silicone elastomer which cures at room temperature by a polyaddition reaction (10:1 ratio). It is designed as a high durometer rubber offering high mechanical strength and a long mold life.

It cures at room temperature in the presence of air moisture to give a flexible and strong seal with low modulus of elasticity. Bluesil™ SLT 10T adheres without a primer on virtually all surfaces found in building construction and accepts movements of 25% in continuous service within a wide range of temperatures.

Bluesil™ SLT 3E TRANSLUCENT is used in adhesive and sealant applications, including glue and sealing adhesives. It is specifically designed for use in these end applications.
