Calcinate®

Calcinate® C-400CLR is a 400 TBN overbased calcium sulfonate. This highly overbased calcium sulfonate is engineered to have the alkaline component as all calcium carbonate. This product is used as a component in metal working fluids where the unique lubricity and extreme pressure properties of calcium carbonate are utilized. The calcium to sulfonate ratio is optimized for good oil solubility and compatibility with other formulating components. Calcinate® C-400CLR is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Calcinate® NC is first intent 30 TBN neutral calcium sulfonate. This neutral calcium sulfonate product is designed to exhibit a low level of reactivity in formulations due to its limited free alkalinity, while providing detergency, rust inhibition and boundary lubrication characteristics. The use of Calcinate® NC is recommended for lubricant formulations where cleanliness is desired. Calcinate® NC is compatible with mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks, and may also be used with esters to provide detergency and corrosion protection.

Calcinate® OR is a 400 TBN first intent overbased calcium sulfonate. This product is a high quality sulfonate designed to be a component in metal working formulations providing the beneficial effects of alkalinity for neutralizing acid and superior demulsibility for rust inhibition. It also directly protects the metal surface from corrosion. The calcium to sulfonate ratio is optimized for good oil solubility and compatibility with other formulating components. Calcinate® OR is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Calcinate® OTS is a 300 TBN first intent overbased calcium sulfonate. This product is a high quality sulfonate designed to be a component in metal working formulations providing the beneficial effects of alkalinity for neutralizing acid and superior demulsibility for rust inhibition. Calcinate® C-300CS is a 300 TBN oil soluble crystalline overbased calcium sulfonate. It is recommended for use in soluble oils, rust protective oils and semi-synthetic fluids as a chlorine replacement to impart enhanced extreme pressure characteristics of a crystalline overbased calcium sulfonates without the sediment formation. This product is used as a component in metal working fluids where the unique lubricity and extreme pressure properties of crystalline calcium carbonate are utilized. Calcinate® C300CS is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Calcinate® C-300R is a 300 TBN first intent overbased calcium sulfonate. This overbased calcium sulfonate is a high quality acid scavenging additive used primarily in rust preventive formulations. Calcinate® C-300R is designed to be a component in metal working formulations providing the beneficial effects of alkalinity for neutralizing acid and superior demulsibility for rust inhibition. The calcium to sulfonate ratio is optimized for good oil solubility and compatibility with other formulating components. Calcinate® C-300R is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Calcinate® C-400W is a 400 TBN modified overbased calcium sulfonate containing a high level of crystalline "calcite" calcium carbonate. Calcinate® C-400W is designed to provide excellent extreme pressure, anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties to a lubricant. It is recommended for use in rust protective and forming oils as a chlorine replacement to impart enhanced extreme pressure characteristics of a crystalline overbased calcium sulfonates. This product is used as a component in metal working fluids where the unique lubricity and extreme pressure properties of calcium carbonate are utilized.
