ACEMATT® 3400 is a specially after-treated thermal silica with a unique property profile. Along with excellent matting efficiency, it provides multiple functionalities in coating formulations. It is especially recommended for soft-feel applications with high surface smoothness.

These products are typically used to reduce VOC levels; increase filler loadings; improve hardness; and add burnish, scrub and abrasion resistance to a variety of coating formulations. Due to the ceramic chemistry of these products, they are also UV transparent down to 250 nm and have utility in radiation-curable and thin-film powder coatings.

Castorwax® DS-270 is highly compatible with a variety of plastics and resin systems and has limited solubility in organic solvents, which will reduce additive an integral part of the cured film. the possibility of its being washed or leached out of the final product Castorwax® DS-270 also has an available reactive hydroxyl group which, if desired, can be utilized to react into the cured film making the additive an integral part of the cured film.
