Additin® M 49.003

Additin® M 49.003 is an organic wax-based corrosion inhibitor, film former, lubricity additive, and wetting agent used in metalworking fluids, including cutting oils, drawing oils, rolling oils, and stamping oils. It provides excellent lubricity, corrosion protection, good film formation, wetting properties, and has a low odor.

  • Additin® M 49.003 is a Light Color, Low Odor oxidized vegetable wax. It is organic by nature and offers an effective replacement to petroleum waxs and oils, while providing better surface wetting and lubricity.
  • It is an excellent source of lubricity and corrosion protection for cutting and machining fluids, as well as drawing and stamping compounds.
  • When used as a film former Additin® M49.003 leaves a dry non-diskernable film.
