COMFORTSIL FLD 21653

• COMFORTSIL FLD 21653 is particularly recommended to be used as a blend with our COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT, typically in ratio 50:50 or 40:60, in order to get macro or micro- emulsions imparting to treated fabrics high hydrophilic properties and full soft hand.
• When applied to textiles in combination with COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT, COMFORTSIL FLD 21653 imparts properties of a good compromise between softness and hydrophilicity, whilst remaining non-yellowing due to the presence of HALS groups.
• Both products are perfectly compatible and easy to blend. Formulation of those blends into micro or macro-emulsion will typically be made using C13 [EO]6 alcohol ethoxylated surfactants. The compromise between hydrophilicity and softness can be adjusted by changing the ratio 21653/HYDROSOFT in the formulation, 21653 bringing more softness and HYDROSOFT more hydrophilicity.

COMFORTSIL FLD 21653 has been developed to be blended with COMFORTSIL FLD HYDROSOFT for the formulation of emulsions in order to increase the softness without significant loss in hydrophilicity.

The application onto textile surfaces imparts the following properties:

• Non-yellowing even at high temperatures.
• Good compromise softness / hydrophilicity.

When stored in its original packaging: COMFORTSIL FLD 21653 E4 may be stored at temperatures between 2°C / 36°F and 40°C / 104°F for up to 24 months from its date of manufacturing.
