- It should not consume together with other betaine-rich supplements.
- If the health claim “betaine contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism” is applied, the requirements of regulation EU 432/2012 must be observed.
- The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1,5 g of betaine. One portion shall contain minimum 500mg of betaine.
