- Product Benefits
- Hostastat® FA 14 is an antistatic agent based on renewable fatty acids with rather balanced application properties
- In combination with Hostastat® FE 1 it shows a well balanced performance in terms of time to get the antistatic effect and durability of the effect
Applications & Uses
- Compatible Polymers & Resins
- Product Applications
- Hostastat® FA 14 is a highly effective internal antistatic agent.
- It is added to equalise and reduce static charges on polymers surface preventing undesired or hazardous effects caused by dust attraction, spark discharge, ink misting.
- Hostastat® FA 14 offers high performance and long term efficiency for thermoplastic polymers, i.e. polyolefins or styrenics.
- For applications where immediate antistatic effects are required it is recommended to combine Hostastat® FA 14 with rapidly acting antistatic agents, .e.g. Hostastat® FE 2.
