Key Features

LITHIUMSOAP I is a high quality grade of lithium stearate produced for applications requiring a relatively fine, medium density gellant, thickening agent, lubricant or processing aid with good handling and blending characteristics

Performance Benefits
  • Consistent physical properties and medium density provide excellent blending and dispersion properties with a large variety of materials.
  • LITHIUMSOAP I is an excellent gelling agent, producing lithium based greases in a variety of oils with high dropping points, very good transparency and moisture resistance.
  • Closely controlled particle size and consistent physical properties contributes to excellent blending and lubrication properties in the pressing of powdered metal parts. LITHIUMSOAP I is especially suited for use with brass or stainless steel metal powders where oxidation staining from the sintering process must be avoided.
  • Provides good high temperature lubrication and mold release properties in PVC, polyamide and other thermoplastic applications.
