PC-2544®

PC-2544™ Defoamer is a 40 % solution of an acrylic polymer in a hydrocarbon solvent. It was developed to improve the defoamer stability performance for formulated Group I and Group II lubricants. PC-2544™ Defoamer is also suggested for evaluation in specialty applications where efficient high temperature performance is required. Typical use levels of the defoamer solutions range from 50 - 500 ppm (20 - 200 ppm active polymer). The optimum level is dependent upon the nature of the oil, and it is therefore necessary to run a concentration profile on each oil.
