TERSPERSE® 4894

TERSPERSE® 4894 DISPersant is a nonionic wetter and dispersant package for use in agricultural suspension concentrate formulations. The product, which is a clear, straw-colored viscous liquid at room temperature, is soluble in water.

  • Can be applied to a wide variety of pesticide actives in suspension concentrate formulations.
  • Is particularly suited to diuron, simazine and atrazine.
  • Recommended usage rate is 50 g/L for a 500-g/L suspension concentrate, although usage rate may vary depending on the requirements of individual formulations.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
  • The product should retain its conformance to sales specifications for a period of at least two years from date of manufacture if the product is stored at less than 100°F in its undamaged, unopened, factory packaged container.
  • In general, the user should determine the suitability of any chemical compound, no matter what the shelf life or length of time of storage.
  • Each user should conduct a sufficient investigation to establish the suitability of any product for his intended use.
  • TERSPERSE® 4894 DISPersant may be satisfactorily stored in corrosion-resistant containers such as stainless steel tanks or lined steel drums.
  • For longer term color stability, it is recommended that the product be stored under an inert atmosphere.
  • There should be circulation in the storage vessel to keep the product homogeneous.
  • Low pressure steam coils in storage tanks and steam tracing of transfer lines should be provided in cases where low environmental temperatures may make pumping of the product difficult.
