The major usages are vehicles for printing ink. This grade especially shows superior compatibility with rosin modified phenolic resin, so it can be used with phenolic resin in off-set ink to decrease the set time and increase the gloss. This grade also can be used as binder for color asphlat and tackifier for EVA based hot melt adhesive (HMA).

D.E.N.® 438-EK85 is a solution of a semi-solid reaction product of epichlorohydrin and phenol-formaldehyde novolac in methyl ethyl ketone.

SUKOREZ® SU-420 is water white thermoplastic resin obtained from polymerizing of C5/Cyclic/Aromatic and hydrogenation.
