CRAYVALLAC® SL is a high performance micronised amide wax rheology modifier designed for the high temperature manufacture of moisture curing methoxysilanes systems, where processing temperatures typically lie within the range 90 – 115°C. CRAYVALLAC® SL particles are converted to an interacting network of crystalline fibres. It is this network that gives rise to the shear thinning rheology. This shear thinning characteristic provides for a low viscosity at the shear rates associated with application by extrusion, and a very high viscosity under the low shear rates experienced after application. The net result is ease of application followed by excellent sag and slump resistance.

3M™ Ceramic Microspheres W-610 are unique, semi-transparent, white-colored, fine particle size, high-strength microspheres. These products are typically used to reduce VOC levels; increase filler loadings; improve hardness; and add burnish, scrub and abrasion resistance to a variety of coating formulations. Due to the ceramic chemistry of these products, they are also UV transparent down to 250 nm and have utility in radiation-curable and thin-film powder coatings.

TERSPERSE® 2500 is a solution of an acrylic graft copolymer in water/propylene glycol. The product, which is a clear to hazy liquid at room temperature, is soluble in water, lower alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

CRAYVALLAC® SUPER overcomes those difficulties which exist with hydrogenated castor oil based rheology modifiers e.g. seeding and false-body. Consequently, coatings formulated using CRAYVALLAC® SUPER exhibit an enhanced performance such as controlled flow behavior, ease of application and excellent sag resistanceIts smooth viscosity recovery will help to achieve high film thickness without compromising a good levelling.
