HIKOREZ® T-3100 is pale yellow thermoplastic C9 modified C5 resin. It is obtained from polymerizing unsaturated aliphatic and aromatic olefins and diolefins derived from the process of thermal cracking of naphtha. The major usages are tackifier for solvent based pressure sensitive adhesive (SBPSA), hot melt based pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) and hot melt adhesive (HMA).

CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

It is a versatile vehicle that can be used in both the formulation of primers that upgrade difficult substrates into sound repaint surfaces, and stain blocking sealers that minimize the "bleed through" of wood tannins and common household stains.
