AQUAPOL® PI-13000-31 Prepolymer is an aliphatic urethane, end-capped prepolymer con- taining un-reacted isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). Aquapol PI-13000-31 prepolymer will gel up to five times its weight of water and can be used to form stable gels with water. In contrast, concentrations of Aquapol PI-13000-31 prepolymer above 50% will result in closed cell foam rather than a gel. Gels will lose water to the atmosphere and should be protected with an impermeable membrane. The speed of reaction can be increased or decreased by using warm or cold water respec- tively and by the concentration of the amine catalyst. Using cold water will reduce any tendency toward frothiness.

AQUAPOL® PT-17000-62 Prepolymer is a toluene diisocyanate-based urethane polymer uti- lized in the manufacturing of hydrophilic foams and coatings. Aquapol® PT-17000-62 pre- polymer has found use in a wide range of applications ranging from medical foams, visco- elastic earplugs, cosmetic sponge, and specialty coatings and foams. Due to the hydro- philic backbone, this polymer and resultant foams and coatings absorb and retain a large quantity of liquid (water and alcohol).

Bluesil™ RTV 3460 B BLACK is a silicone elastomer which cures at room temperature by a polyaddition reaction (10:1 ratio). It is designed as a high durometer rubber offering high mechanical strength and a long mold life.

Bluesil™ FLD 621 V1500 is α/ ω vinyl dimethylpolysiloxanes. They are available in viscosities from 20 mm²/s to 170 000 mm²/s. They are mainly used as base polymers for the production of silicone elastomers produced by a polyaddition crosslinking reaction, and as additives to modify organic polymer compounds.
