CYMEL® NF 3041 is a formaldehyde-free, partially n-butylated crosslinking agent supplied in n-butanol. It was designed primarily for use in 2 pack ambient cure solvent-borne conversion varnishes for industrial wood. Systems containing CYMEL® NF 3041 exhibit superior catalyzed pot life relative to typical urea-based conversion varnishes and require significantly less catalyst to effect cure. The resulting coatings have excellent appearance, early hardness, resistance properties, and hot/cold cycle flexibility.

RHOPLEX® AC-2235M is a 100% acrylic binder designed for use in exterior flat and sheen latex housepaints. The polymer provides a high degree of adhesion and durability. Film build and flow and leveling, however, are not as good as with newer acrylic binders. RHOPLEX® AC-2235M Acrylic Emulsion Polymer is designed to provide the same properties and performance as RHOPLEX® AC-235 in paint formulations, but at a lower price. PC 1644â„¢ Defoamer is a 40 % solution of an acrylic polymer in a petroleum solvent. It was developed to offer improved defoaming performance versus PC- 1244 in non-aqueous organic fluids. PC 1644â„¢ Defoamer is a general purpose defoamer which offers superior foam control at low use levels, generally 10 to 20 % lower use level versus PC-1244. PC 1644â„¢ Defoamer is silicone-free and exhibits very low odor. PC-1644 defoamer applications include usage in gear oils, specialty lubricants, and shock absorber, hydraulic, turbine or transmission oils. Typical use levels of the solutions range from 50 - 500 ppm (20 - 200 ppm active polymer). The optimum level is dependent upon the nature of the oil and it is therefore necessary to run a concentration profile for each oil. The defoamer is most typically employed at 200 - 250 ppm of solution (80 - 100 ppm active polymer).
