AP 1365

AP 1365 is an excellent light color and a low viscosity phenalkamine curing agent suitable for epoxy coating primarily for top coat application. The product has rapid cure and film properties at lower temperature and excellent adhesion on concrete, primers, and midcoats. This product is designed primarily for floor topcoat and self leveling applications.

  • AP 1365 is used in combination with liquid Epoxy resins or solids epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents.
  • AP 1365 is usable in high solids coatings over concrete, primers, and metal substrates.
  • Due to the low viscosity, it gives good wetting and levelling properties, and its excellent yellowing resistance makes it ideal for topcoat applications.
  • AP 1365 can be used in combination with polyamides, polyamines or other hardeners.

Handling Information
  • The hardener will absorb moisture & carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity & sometimes crystallization.
  • The product may shows fumes in presence of high humidity (>40% RH) and in acidic environment.
  • Use personal protective equipments & follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical and solvents & their vapor.
Storage Conditions
  • AP 1365 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 5 to 30°C.
  • The Product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
