Emulsion A is an important component of emulsion type automotive and furniture polishes and cleaners that impart a durable, high lustre protective film. Water-based polishes are prepared by emulsifying the oil with alkalis and amines or non-ionic emulsifiers.

Caspol™ 5003 is a 100% solids castor oil based reactive diluent with a linear chain backbone having a low viscosity, good compatibility and wetting. Caspol™ 5003, a linear chain diol, is composed of a blend of primary and secondary hydroxyls which makes this polyol more reactive yielding slightly harder and less flexible components than either Caspol™ 5001 or DBTM Oil.

DB™ Oil is the highest grade of refined castor oil. It was developed for use in applications when a low acidity and moisture content are critical.

Citroflex™ 4 is a low molecular weight citric acid ester partially derived from bio-based raw materials.

Castorwax® DS-270 is a wax-like compound obtained by the controlled hydrogenation of pure castor oil, which occurs in the seed of the castor plant, Ricinus communis. Castorwax® DS-270 is highly compatible with a variety of plastics and resin systems and has limited solubility in organic solvents, which will reduce additive an integral part of the cured film. the possibility of its being washed or leached out of the final product Castorwax® DS-270 also has an available reactive hydroxyl group which, if desired, can be utilized to react into the cured film making the additive an integral part of the cured film.

Castung™ 403 Z-3 is a bodied dehydrated castor oil (DCO) that can be used with pure and modified phenolic resins to impart alkali resistance for can linings, corrosion resistant coatings, traffic paints, ink vehicles and marine finishes. The high viscosity Castung™ 403 Z-3will yield faster processing and drying times than Castung™103 G-H. Castung™ 403 Z-3 is excellent for formulating alkyd and copolymer resins, where dehydrated castor oil is well known for its non- yellowing and outstanding color retention characteristics.

Flexricin® 100 is a stabilized variant of Vertellus' P- 10 Acid having a shelf life of 24 months. Flexricin® 100, just as P-10 Acid, is a building block for modifying many performance properties of a broad range of industrial chemicals. These performance enhanced chemicals are then used in a variety of consumer products, including paints, adhesives, soaps and inks.

#1 Imported Castor Oil is a Technical Grade pure castor oil. Castor Oil, also known as Ricinus oil, is a triglyceride of fatty acids which occurs in the seed of the castor plant, Ricinus communis. #1 Imported Castor Oil is also available as DRY #1 Castor Oil with a moisture content of 0.02% maximum.

AA™ Standard Castor Oil is a commercial, quality refined grade castor oil. It is a light- colored viscous liquid. The principle constituent (approximately 90%) is the triglyceride (ester) of ricinoleic acid. The combination of hydroxyl group and unsaturation exists only in castor oil.

Caspol™ 1962 is a 100% solids castor oil based reactive diluent with a blend of primary and secondary hydroxyls with a low molecular weight which gives this triol a high level of reactivity, higher hardness and strength, with a lower elongation than the other Caspol diols and triols. Caspol™ 1962 is a specially modified castor oil polyol which will impart improved coating properties such as chemical resistance, weatherability, flow and application properties.

Flexricin® P-1 is a clear, bright, low viscosity liquid. It is a low-temperature plasticizer for rubber polymers in the production of low durometer stock. It functions as a lubricant-plasticizer for phenolic molding compounds and as a plasticizer for epoxy resin systems.

Flexricin® P-6 is a highly efficient plasticizer for nitrocellulose lacquers, vinyl resins and many other natural and synthetic resins. It provides good permanence and can be used in conjunction with the polymerized castor oils.

Cotin® 280 is a liquid organotin carboxylate catalyst recommended for use in room temperature vulcanised (RTV) silicone systems and polyurethane foams and elastomers. Cotin® 280 should be considered a “moderate to rapid” catalyst, for relatively faster cure. It does not utilize acetic acid in its manufacture, and therefore, does not have the odor or corrosiveness normally associated with organotin acetates. Cotin 280 should be used at an equal active weight basis as dibutyltin diacetate.

Caspol™ 5006 is a 100% solids castor oil based reactive diluent with a blend of primary and secondary hydroxyls to yield a balanced reactivity. This polyol has a functionality of 3.5 and its structure leads to high hardness and strength, with good elongation and flexibility. Caspol™ 5006 is a castor oil polyol which will impart improved coating properties such as good weatherability, flow and application properties.
