Additin® RC 5001 is a water soluble additive with a high lubricity and a low foaming performance. Typical treatment levels in fully synthetic concentrates are 5 to 20 %. For tank-side addition of metal working solutions 0.2 to 0.5 % are used. Additin RC 5001 can be used as low-foaming base fluid in HFC-fluids.

Additin® RC 5001 is generally good soluble in fully synthetic concentrates. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base fluids used and the compatibility with other additives. Used as tank-side additive Additin® RC 5001 is soluble by sufficient turbulence of the metal working solution. Additin RC 5001 is not soluble in mineral oils and ester oils.
