    Product Applications
    • Additin® RC 5650 A is a low treat rate long life semi synthetic package designed for grinding, drilling, cutting, forming and reaming applications for cast iron and ferrous based materials including stainless steels.
    • This additive package is not only designed to meet with modern day machining demands but also offers a clear visual of the workpiece, whilst being suitable for both soft and harder waters.
    • Additin® RC 5650 A can be used for designing products for severe metalworking operations by blending with additional lubricity, EP and corrosion inhibitor additives from Additin RC 2000, RC 5400 and RC 8100 series.
    • The high quality Additin® RC 5650 A package gives a straightforward blending process, by simply diluting with water, minimizing process and vessel occupancy time, as well as reducing inventory requirements for multiple components.
    Formulation Information
    • Additin® RC 5650 A is designed to be blended at a ratio of 50/50(product/water) to produce a semi synthetic metal working fluid formulation.
    • This final blended coolant has good hard water stability and provides excellent corrosion protection.

    Test results

    • Treat rate for basic semi synthetic fluid:
      • Additin® RC 5650 A - 50%
      • Water - 50%
    • Ferrous Corrosion test (DIN # 51360): 3% blend in 200 ppm water - 0
