- Additin RC 9330 N is a multifunctional ashless additive package especially designed for lubricants in the food processing industry with outstanding oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties
- Additin RC 9330 N is particularly recommended for use in the formulation of lubricants for which high performance demands have to be met:.
- very high oxidation stability (extended service life)
- high load carrying capacity
- good demulsification
- good corrosion protection against steel and non-ferrous metals
- good filterability
- excellent thermal stability
- Additin RC 9330 N is ideally suited for formulating lubricants for food processing industry, i.e. hydraulic fluids based on suitable base fluids. Depending on the base fluid the recommended treatment level is in the range of 1.0 to 1.9 % by weight.
- Additin RC 9330 N is registered at NSF as an ingredient in lubricants with incidental direct food contact (HX-1) for use in and around food processing areas. NSF Registration No. 143524. Additin RC 9330 N is acceptable for use in mineral oil based lubricants at a level not to exceed 2.3 wt%.
- The product can be used also for lubricants in non-food applications. In this case the properties can be obtained at low treatment levels in a broad range of different base oils. The treatment level for non-food applications is not limited and should be choosen according to requirements. In order to meet the stringent foam limits of some industrial oil specifications the addition of a defoamer may be necessary.
