Type

Ashless and chlorine free additive package for the formulation of metalworking oils and emulsion concentrates for a broad variety of metal removal and metal forming processes

Product Applications

Cutting oils (e.g. automatic machining, drilling, broaching, honing, turning)

Cold forming oils (deep drawing, cold extrusion, ironing, wire drawing, tube drawing, profiling e.g.)

Additin® RC 9720 N is an ashless chlorine free additive package with excellent extreme pressure, anti wear, lubricity and corrosion protection performance. It is suitable to formulate metalworking fluids for the following materials: Yellow metals, aluminum alloys, all types of carbon steel, stainless steel and titanium alloys. The treat rate recommendation of Additin® RC 9720 N for the formulation of metalworking fluids is 2% - 20% by weight in basefluids with viscosities adjusted to the process requirements. It can also be used as EP booster in emulsifiable metalworking concentrates. For details please refer to our technical documentation. It is recommended to evaluate the suitability of the formulation in field trials.

Solubility Information

Additin® RC 9720 N is soluble in most mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.
