Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • AP 5601 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 15 to 30°C. The Product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Material may crystallize upon exposure to low temperature can be utilized after making it clear by heating the material. It is recommended that the material be heated to 50 - 70°C with continuously mixing for 1 hour.
  • Once the material becomes fully homogenized, it can be cooled to room temperature and utilized under normal conditions.

Shelf life: (15 to 30 °C): 12 Months.

Hazardous decomposition products: (When in fire) Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen Oxides and other toxic Gases & Vapors.

Handling Precautions:

  • The hardener will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization.
  • Use personal protective equipments and follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical, solvents & their vapor.
