Method of Use:
Surface Preparation: The surface should be clean and dry. Any loose dirt, oil, or grease should be brushed off for optimum performance. If cleaning is not feasible, several liberal applications are recommended.Dilution: BONDERITE® L-GP 2420 ACHESON (known as DAG 2420) is supplied ready for use and should be applied directly. If further dilution is required, add odorless mineral spirits while stirring thoroughly.
Application: Mild agitation is required before using. Oven temperature must be below 250°F (121°C) before applying. Gas burners, pilot light and all other open flames must be extinguished. Oven must be vented while lubricating by opening oven doors, running exhausters and opening steam dampers to help remove vapors. Do not close oven doors after lubrication until oven has been reheated to baking temperature. BONDERITE® L-GP 2420 ACHESON (known as DAG 2420) can be easily applied by spray, brush, or dip techniques; spills are easily cleaned up with a detergent solution. The lubricating coating air dries in approximately five minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
