- Vegetable Orange liquid WS26 is made with potassium hydroxide, which helps to solubilize the coloring principle and stabilize it in solution.
- The high pH of this product may be damaging to the skin and mucous membranes, so proper protective equipment should be worn when handling this material.
- Wear the proper eye, nose, and skin protection. Upon exposure to skin or mucous membranes thoroughly flush the affected area with clean, cool water.
- Consult a physician if there is irritation or chemical burns.

- Storage Conditions
Heat Stability:
The pigment’s resistance to light and heat is good under most conditions. The colorant will precipitate in acidic conditions, but acid-stable forms of the colorant are available.
Storage Conditions:
- Store in a cool, dark, dry place, tightly sealed in its original container. Avoid exposure to heat or direct light. As the container is emptied, and if stored for longer periods of time is anticipated, it may help to transfer the contents from the original container to a clean, opaque container of a suitable size to minimize exposure to oxygen in the headspace of the container.
- Shelf life: When stored under recommended conditions, 12 months minimum.
