Dynasylan® 1189 is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive secondary amine and hydrolyzable methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan® 1189 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter or as a surface modifier and can be used for the chemical modification of substances. Dynasylan® 1189 is a colorless to slight yellowish liquid with a light aminelike odor which is, for example, soluble in alcohols, and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Hybricor™ 204 is an organic/inorganic hybrid corrosion inhibitor pigment, a proven effective replacement for Cr⁶⁺ in aerospace primer applications on aluminum and other non-ferrous substrates. The fine particle size of Hybricor™ 204 (7 Hegman) permits it to be easily incorporated into a coating using a high speed disperser. It is effective in primers, DTM and thin film (20 micron) applications. It does not affect pot life of 2K systems.
