ACRYSOL™ RM-7 Rheology Modifier is a remarkably versatile hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble emulsion (HASE) thickening agent for latex coatings. Like other HASE modifiers, ACRYSOL™ RM-7 Rheology Modifier offers a nearly Newtonian rheology profile with lower viscosity in low-shear conditions and higher viscosity in high-shear conditions than cellulosic thickeners deliver. As a result, it can produce paints with a very desirable combination of good flow/leveling and film build properties. ACRYSOL™ RM-7 Rheology Modifier is distinguished by a capacity to generate high-shear viscosity very efficiently, a feature that makes it exceptionally well suited to use with all acrylic emulsions, being developed for low-VOC, non flat waterborne paints.

TEGO® Phobe 1659 is a silicone resin emulsion for the very efficient reduction of the capillary water uptake of coating formulations.

ACRYSOL™ RM-3030 Rheology Modifier should be added under good mixing conditions to ensure complete incorporation into the formulation.

CRAYVALLAC® REV is a new high performance micronised amide wax rheology modifier offering perfect recoatability for regular, high solids and solvent-free coatings. CRAYVALLAC® REV has been designed to provide reliability and efficiency in a wide range of coatings. As other CRAYVALLAC® modifiers, it overcomes technical constraints such as seeding, false-body and migration of readily dissolved species to the surface. AEROSIL® 300 is a hydrophilicfumed silica with a specific surface area of 300 m²/g. Itprovides a verystrong rheologicaleffect.

UCECOAT® 7856 is a new high-solids and solvent-free radiation curable polyurethane dispersion in water suitable for high gloss applications with excellent clarity and distinctness of image (DOI). The product has an excellent colloidal stability (shelf life of 12 months) and complies with VOC-free, tin-free Does not contain intentionally added organic tin compounds and stenomer Chemically well-defined monomeric or multi functional acrylates, with low molecular weight and very narrow molecular weight distribution free requirements. Due to its low viscosity and its good responsiveness to rheology modifiers, it can be easily applied by spray, roller or curtain coating operation. The product can be advantageously applied in one single coat and does not require sanding, although it can still benefit from polishing. The cured coating exhibits good chemical and scratch resistance required for high-end wooden furniture topcoats, though it is also suitable for other substrates and applications.
