CYMEL® 250 Resin is a new type of mixalkylated methylated and n-butylated melamine formaldehyde resin with high imino functions. It is designed specifically for automotive coating system and does not require a strong acid catalyst for fast cure response. CYMEL® 250 Resin is similar reactivity to conventional n-butylated melamine resin. A formulation by using CYMEL® 250 Resin can achieve lower VOC, compared to a formulation by using conventional n-butylated melamine formaldehyde resin.

VANCRYL® 989 is a high glass transition temperature acrylic emulsion for the graphic arts industry. Excellent gloss and fast drying rates can be obtained by utilizing VANCRYL® 989 in inks and coatings. It is suitable for both flexographic and gravure printing on paper substrates. VANCRYL® 989 has excellent compatibility with pigment dispersions and alcohols. Inks formulated with this product have good transfer, printability, and resolubility. Because it is a hard polymer, VANCRYL® 989 can also be formulated as a high gloss over print varnish with very good heat, water, oil, and scuff resistance.

VANCRYL® 960 is a very low glass transition temperature acrylic polymer for film printing applications in the graphic arts industry. Inks made from this polymer exhibit excellent gloss, adhesion to polyolefins, ice water crinkle resistance, and fine printing characteristics. These properties are needed when converting packaging printing from solvent-based formulations to water-based formulations. VANCRYL® 960 is compatible with VANCRYL® 68 pigment dispersions as well as other commonly used dispersion resins. It also exhibits excellent compatibility with additives such as surfactants, adhesion promoters, and waxes. VANCRYL® 960 can be used as the backbone of printing inks and overprint coatings where various COF or slide angle requirements are needed, from a range of 0.25 to 0.45.

UVACURE® 1600 is thermally stable iodonium salt photoinitiators are used to induce the polymerization of epoxides and other cationically polymerizable materials on exposure to UV light. UVACURE® 1600 is p-(octyloxyphenyl)phenyliodonium hexafluoroantimonate in solid form. It is compatible with most UV cationic cure systems and is especially useful for the rapid polymerization of thin clear coatings on metal, plastic, and paper substrates. Coatings cured using UVACURE® 1600 generally exhibit excellent adhesion, particularly on metal substrates.
