D.E.N. 426 Epoxy Novolac Resin is an epoxidized phenolic resin of higher functionality than standard bisphenol A based liquid epoxy resins. Epoxy novolac resins combine, in one molecule, the thermal stability of a phenolic backbone with the reactivity and versatility of an epoxy. They are distinguished by particular good thermal stability, mechanical strength and resistance against chemicals. They find ready acceptance for lining pipelines, storage tanks and pumps. D.E.N.® 426 has been developed to fill the gap between the two functional standard bisphenol F based liquid epoxy resins and the high viscous epoxy novolac resins.

Dynasylan® MTMS
Principal:
Evonik Corporation Silanes
Functions:
Crosslinking Agent, Surface Modifier
Chemical Family:
Silanes
Labeling Claims:
Conflict Minerals-free
Features:
Low Viscosity, Mar Resistance, UV Stability
Dynasylan® MTMS an alkyltrialkoxysilane is an important component in solÂgel systems. Dynasylan® MTMS is a colorless, lowÂviscosity liquid. Dynasylan® MTMS is regarded as trifunctional since all three alkoxy groups are able to hydrolyze. Additionally Dynasylan® MTMS contains a methyl group that adds organic character to the products. Hydrolysis leads to silanol groups which, in a subsequent condensation reaction, form very stable siloxane bonds (ÂSiÂOÂSiÂ). Condensation occurs parallel to hydrolysis once a certain amount of silanol groups have been formed. The absolute and relative rates of hydrolysis and condensation depend on a number of factors. The most important factors include pH, concentration, solvent, temperature and the catalyst.

Functions:
Rheology Modifier
Chemical Family:
Polyamides
Labeling Claims:
Bio-based, Heavy Metal-free, No Added Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APEO), Solvent-free

CRAYVALLAC® SL is a high performance micronised amide wax rheology modifier designed for the high temperature manufacture of moisture curing methoxysilanes systems, where processing temperatures typically lie within the range 90 – 115°C. CRAYVALLAC® SL particles are converted to an interacting network of crystalline fibres. It is this network that gives rise to the shear thinning rheology. This shear thinning characteristic provides for a low viscosity at the shear rates associated with application by extrusion, and a very high viscosity under the low shear rates experienced after application. The net result is ease of application followed by excellent sag and slump resistance.
