PARALOID™ AU-2100 is a new acrylic polyol for use in low VOC (<2.1 lb/ gal.) 2K solventborne urethane coatings for the industrial maintenance coatings markets. Standard application viscosities may be achieved without the use of expensive or highly flammable non-VOC solvents. PARALOID Resin AU-2100 can also be formulated as a baking, or stoving, system with melamine or urea resins for those industrial finishes needing either faster property development or slightly different performance needs.

CARPOL® PGP-3815 is a propylene glycol-initiated polyether polyol. CARPOL® PGP-3815 has a functionality of two and an average molecular weight of 3800 Da. This diol is polymerized with propylene oxide and then capped with 15% ethylene oxide.

EBECRYL® 896 is a multifunctional monomer which polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. It is composed primarily of the pentaacrylate and hexaacrylate esters of dipentaerythritol. EBECRYL® 896 is particularly useful in UV (ultraviolet) and EB (electron beam) curable inks and coatings where improved cure response, hardness and scratch/abrasion resistance are required.

CYMEL® 303 LF resin is a highly methylated, monomeric melamine crosslinker supplied in liquid form at ≥ 98% solids content. Its high extent of alkylation and low tendency to self-condense make CYMEL® 303 LF resin a highly effective crosslinking agent for a broad range of applications such as can, container, automotive and general industrial coatings. While CYMEL® 303 LF resin is insoluble in water, it shows excellent compatibility with water-soluble backbone polymers and provides very good stability in amine-stabilized waterborne formulations.

EBECRYL® 8311 is an aliphatic urethane acrylate nanocomposite that exhibits low viscosity and high reactivity in ultraviolet (UV) light or electron beam (EB) curable coatings. EBECRYL® 8311 can be easily incorporated into at any stage of formulating. Films of EBECRYL 8311 exhibit good weatherability, outstanding hardness, chemical, and scratch and abrasion resistance coupled with very low haze development after abrasion. EBECRYL® 8311is designed to be used as the main oligomer in formulations requiring a high degree of hardness, scratch, abrasion resistance and low development after abrasion

CARPOL® GP-1000 is a glycerin-initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 1000 Da. This triol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, CARPOL® GP-1000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

PARALOID™ AU-608X Resin are acrylic polyols specifically designed to produce hard, resistant, durable coatings when reacted with aliphatic isocyanates. The exceptional properties of these coatings have led to increased use in such heavy-duty maintenance applications as chemical plant storage tanks and offshore rigs and platforms.

EBECRYL® 3411 is a fatty acid modified bisphenol A epoxy diacrylate resin with relatively low viscosity, good flow and leveling, and excellent pigment wetting properties. Films of EBECRYL® 3411 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) demonstrate high gloss, a degree of toughness and good chemical resistance.

EBECRYL® 3200 is a blend of acrylated aliphatic and aromatic bisphenol A epoxy resins and exhibits relatively low viscosity and good wetting ability. Films of EBECRYL 3200 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) possess high gloss, flexibility and chemical resistance.

Aquolin® 279 is a water dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI). In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it can be used for water-borne coatings. Thanks to its low viscosity and ease of hand- mixing, Aquolin 279 can be used to prepare “solvent-free hardener” in order to produce ultralow VOC coatings. After addition of Aquolin 279, the ready-to-use mixture must be used within the pot life.
