CYMEL® 1172 resin is an unalkylated glycoluril crosslinker supplied in water at 45% solids. It is designed to be used for crosslinking aqueous neutral or acidic hydroxyl or amide functional polymers and combines excellent stability at acidic pH (as low as 4) with excellent reactivity. CYMEL® 1172 resin cannot be used in amine neutralized or basic coating systems because of the potential problems of demethylolation of the compound and a significant decrease in cure response.

PARALOID™ AU-2100 is a new acrylic polyol designed for use in low VOC (&lt;2.1 lb/gal) 2K solventborne urethane coatings, specifically for the industrial maintenance coatings market. Standard application viscosities can be achieved without the need for expensive or highly flammable non-VOC solvents. PARALOID Resin AU-2100 can also be formulated as a baking or stoving system with melamine or urea resins, making it suitable for industrial finishes that require faster property development or slightly different performance characteristics.
