Focus Additive RP RZ8 is a very cost effective water-soluble corrosion inhibitor additive designed to impart temporary rust protection for ferrous and non-ferrous applications. It does not contribute to discoloration on the surface of non-ferrous metals. It imparts lubrication properties when used at higher concentrations. It is designed to have a relatively low pH and high acid content, which provides the ability to formulate fluid concentrates with a variety of alkaline sources. Focus Additive RP RZ8 is non-foaming and has excellent stability in hard water up to 1500 ppm hardness. Focus Additive RP RZ8 gives rust protection when water evaporates. The thin liquid film that remains provides rust protection to ferrous surfaces, even under high humidity conditions. This film can easily be removed by rinsing with water. It also burns off cleanly in high temperature processing operations. Focus Additive RP RZ8 is composed of a mixture of organic acid salts, is DEA free and can be waste treated by adjusting the pH below the methyl orange end point.

CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-62 Surfactant is a nonionic surfactant with a chemical structure designed to make it act as a defoamer in many applications. Even at very low concentrations, CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-62 can be used to reduce the superficial tension of liquids, including high viscosity liquids. Defoaming performance is a function of cloud point and end use temperature and CARPOL® NIONIC™ L-62 is an effective low foam surfactant. These materials are water soluble at low temperatures and will flocculate when warmed above their cloud point. In addition these products are easily removed and leave no residue on surfaces.

ResinOLINE® BD 2 is used as a base stock and oil in drilling fluids and as an ingredient in bar soaps. It also functions as an industrial additive in alkyd resins and bitumen emulsions, improving fuel lubricity performance.

NIONIC™ 31R1 Surfactant is a reverse block copolymer surfactant with a chemical structure designed to provide reduced foaming and gelling tendencies compared to non-reverse block copolymer surfactants. NIONIC™ 31R1 Surfactant can be used to reduce the surface tension of liquids, including high viscosity liquids even at very low concentrations. The unique features are extremely low toxicity, defoaming activity, wetting, cleaning, emulsification, and chemical and thermal stability.

Precipitated Silica is a general term for white powder X ray amorphous silica and silicate products. It mainly refers to Precipitated Silica, fumed silica and ultrafine silica gel, and also includes powdered synthetic aluminum silicate and calcium silicate. Additionally, it is used in home care products such as acid cleaners, automatic dishwashing detergents, and metal polishes. It offers excellent corrosion inhibition in various fluid applications and industrial additives.

Additin® RC 8221 protects primarily copper and cobalt, including their alloys, as well as nickel from corrosion, forming an extremely thin, stable and virtually colorless film on the metal surface by chemisorption. The formation of copper ions in formulations, e.g. cooling or heat transfer fluids, are prevented and consequently the copper ion catalyzed oxidation or degradation reactions are avoided. The durability of products such as lubricoolants, antifreezes, hydraulic fluids, oil-based media and rubber is improved.
