3M™ Glass Bubbles K20HS are high-strength additives for polymers made from a water-resistant and chemically stable soda-lime borosilicate glass. These hollow glass bubbles can be compounded with a variety of polymers to reduce the overall density of the composite. These composites can be incorporated into deep sea syntactic foam buoyancy modules to improve uplift properties of the system at minimal foam volumes. The high strength of K20HS glass bubbles can withstand both the high processing shear forces of polymer mixing and the pressure of seawater in many applications. 3M™ Glass Bubbles K20HS have isostatic crush strengths of 750 psi with a minimum of 90% survival.

Superior Graphite 5590 is a purified synthetic graphite manufactured using Superior Graphite’s proprietary electro-thermal purification technology. This continuous high-temperature process exposes the raw materials to extremely high temperatures, so that impurities including inorganic contaminants are evaporated. Superior Graphite 5590 is an ultrafine grade within this product line produced using Superior Graphite’s dedicated milling and screening technology. Main uses are wear reduction and increase in thermal conductivity for high demanding applications.

Silcolapse® 623 is a 30% silicone antifoam emulsion designed for use in a wide range of aqueous industrial applications. The product effectively controls foam at concentrations as low as 10 ppm solids, even at elevated temperatures and under pressure. Silcolapse® 623 gives good results at wide-ranging pH and is particularly effective under alkaline conditions.

This continuous high-temperature process exposes flake graphite to extremely high temperatures so that impurities, including inorganic contaminants, are sublimed. Superior Graphite 2939 is a fine size grade, relatively denser than the equivalent APH grade of the 'Thermally Purified Flake' product line produced using Superior Graphite’s dedicated milling and screening technology. Main uses are increase in thermal and electrical conductivity, coatings, coefficient of friction reduction, and wear reduction in high demanding applications.
