Exolit® OP 560 is a flame retardant that can be used for flexible polyurethane foams. It is a medium-viscosity liquid and it is based on a non-halogenated phosphorus polyol. The product is a reactive flame retardant which can be chemically reacted into the polymeric matrix. Therefore, very low fogging values can be achieved which meet the most stringent emission standards for PU flexible foams in the automotive industry.

Exolit® AP 422 is a fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate (phase II) produced by a special method. The product is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. It is colorless, non-hygroscopic and non-flammable.

Exolit® RP 6520 is a brown-red paste, and is a thixotropic blend of castor oil with stabilised, microencapsulated red phosphorus. Exolit® OP flame retardants for polyamides are all based on aluminum diethyl-phosphinate (= DEPAL). The pure substance DEPAL is sold as Exolit OP 1230 and in combination with synergists as Exolit® OP 13xx types. Exolit® OP 1230 is the first non-halogenated flame retardant which can withstand the demanding requirements of this high end segment of engineering plastics.

Exolit® OP 930 is a white, fine-grained powder based on an organic phosphinate. The product is not hygroscopic and it is insoluble in water and common organic solvents lik cetone, dichloromethane, MEK, toluene. Exolit® OP 930 can easily be dispersed in solvents like acetone or MEK.

Exolit® OP 1240 is a flame retardant based on an organic aluminum phosphinate which is a thermally stable white solid without any hazard classification or labeling. It can be easily compounded into polyesters and subsequently processed again to manufacture flame retarded parts used in consumer or industrial products.
